Brothers Passed
Jeffrey James Trendel
Passed away on Sunday, December 19, 2021, at the age of 74 years. Dear brother of Dennis (Elizabeth) Trendel. Beloved uncle of Denise (Steve) Jaeger, Julie (Rick) Stephenson and Jason (Kim) Trendel. Jeff is also loved and will be missed by great-nieces and nephews, other family members and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Evelyn and Joseph Trendel.
Jeff was a proud graduate of UW-Stout. He taught Industrial Arts at Oak Creek High School for 30 years. Jeff enjoyed going on fishing trips with friends and cheering on the Wisconsin Badgers.
Jeffrey was a skilled wood turner who sold his works at art shows in Wisconsin and Florida. Working with Cuban Mahogany was his speciality. A true craftsman, he could take a piece of wood and turn it into something beautiful.
Jeffrey was a lover of all dogs and eventually became an active member in Basset Buddies Rescue. He proudly took his dogs wherever he went, and in the Florida Keys he was known as Mr. Bassett. Whether at a restaurant or family dinner, he always asked for a take home bag for his dogs.
There will be a time of gathering on Monday, December 27, from 3:00 PM, until time of Memorial Service at 6:30 PM at CHURCH AND CHAPEL FUNERAL, 380 Bluemound Rd., (Hwy J & JJ), Waukesha. In lieu of flowers, memorials to JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation), appreciated.
